AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:
Our After School Program runs every Thursday throughout the school year from 4-5:30 pm at the Salvation Army Church, 59 Ballantine Street, Cobourg. It is for kids grade SK-5 and youth grade 6-12. We offer a safe, fun environment for kids and youth to play games, have gym time, eat snacks, make crafts, and learn about the love of Jesus!
BREAKFAST PROGRAM:
Our Breakfast Program has offered a healthy, nutritious breakfast to many kids who wouldn’t otherwise get one. It was offered during the school year, from Monday - Friday, by a team of dedicated volunteers. This is presently on hold until further notice
SUMMER CAMP:
This summer, we are excited to be running an annual Sports camp in partnership with Athletes in Action. This year it was held on the week of August 19 - 23 for kids & youth aged 6-14.
COFFEE HOUR:
We have run a weekly coffee time for ladies, moms and their tots to get together, enjoy coffee and snacks, and chat! Presently, we are looking for leaders to get this up and running again.
CHRISTMAS DINNER:
Every December we put on a big Christmas Dinner Celebration for families of children involved in our programs! We have a turkey dinner feast with dessert, crafts, and gifts for the kids. Also, we sing Christmas carols and share the Christmas story.
